Unfortunately, I didn’t find this thread before getting ripped off…
That Felicity and Maria Redmond people both contacted me with room offers in Melbourne.
The first one also told me she was residing in London at the moment and worked at SAP, sent me the same contract, etc. etc.
Obviously I didn’t see the warning signs because it somehow made sense to me, and did send some money (over Western Union, of course) in exchange for getting the keys. Guess what, he / she / whatever confirmed that the money had arrived, but now doesn’t answer emails anymore.
I guess I won’t get any keys…
Can’t believe how stupid that was.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want any sympathy, I basically registered here so that no-one else has to make this experience.
Anyways, J’ai besoin d’une colloc / apartement de nouveau, haha…
