When it comes to healthy food, most individuals have an image of what they are looking for. Everyone seems to think of spinach as a healthy food, and cookies to be unhealthy food. what are protective foods? Some people might say that pasta isn’t healthy, but others would argue the opposite, while others believe it depends on whether it’s whole wheat pasta.

The reason it is difficult to judge whether a food item is healthy is that there isn’t an way to determine what constitutes a healthy food. What is the total amount of calories contained in the food? What about the grams of sugar or the quantity of nutrients and vitamins? It all comes to the personal opinion of the person and what they think is healthy or not. A lot of people trying to lose weight make their food choices based on what they consider to be healthy and only consume these kinds of food items. There is still a chance to overeat these « healthy » foods and gain weight, or at most, not lose the weight you would like to. The main distinction in « foods that are good for you » and « junk » foods is that the healthier foods are likely to allow you to feel fuller for longer. A majority of people feel full after eating a meal of meats and vegetables in comparison to eating a platter of sweets. In reality, no one eats everything other than sweets every day. There are many people who have problems when they don’t have their favorite food and are constantly cutting back on the foods they love.
