POSTION: Office Administration, Sales & Marketing
A position is available commencing in January, 2006, or as soon as possible thereafter, for twelve months working with Austour in their head office at 3/15 Thompson Street, Frankston, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
A company whose motto is “Big enough to cope, small enough to care” is looking for an enthusiastic, young, trainee to spend 12 months in service/traineeship/work experience with an Australian wholesaler tour operator – Austour.
The management of Austour has been operating tours to Central Australian since 1963 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Max Whitehead, for 5 years a Director of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents responsible for Industry and Training; a part time teacher at Chisholm Institute College, Frankston, Tourism Studies; and founder of the Overland Tour Crew Training Course has a great deal of knowledge on Australian travel to pass on to a successful applicant.
Skills required:
French language as first language
fluent in English and German
trainee in tourism studies having completed a tourism university degree
interested in working with a tour wholesaler in Europe selling to Australia.
3 months of the year would be spent touring as a language assistant traveling 30 days around Australia on Austour’s Great Australian Adventure (refer to website: http://www.austour.com.au for tour itinerary).
3 months sales and marketing attending trade shows, brochure production assistance for both domestic and international markets; correspondence to wholesalers; attendance at Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE); and other promotional activities coordinated by the Australian Tourist Commission/Tourism Australia or Northern Territory Tourist Commission.
six months office work: reservations; sales and marketing correspondence; general secretarial and typing work; website maintenance; and learning how a small Australian tour operator functionsApply in writing with CV, photograph, copies of educational qualifications and any relevant references (translated into English) to:

J’arrive sur Perth debut juillet et je voudrais faire du wwoofing tout en remontant sur Darwin. Je me donne 2 mois pour faire les 5000 km ce qui devrait etre largement faisable.
J’aimerais savoir s il y a beaucoup de fermes dans le coin… 🙄

Moi aussi j’arrive à Sydney en avril, le 10.
J’ai 22 ans et je cherche des colocs et des frenchies xce serait encore plus cool parce que quand on débarque seule…c’est plus sympa !A bientot
