Bonjour,
Voici mes questions relatives a un souhait d’emigrer prochainement en australie.I am a 30 year old French willing to go and live in Australia and would like to ask or some advice to emigrate.
First in short here is my situation:
I graduated from a mechanical engineering school, and was specialised in power conversion. Then I have been working for 7 years in the aerospace industry, more specially on mechanical and electromechanical aircraft systems. I have a good English working knowledge (Toeic 930) even if not completely fluentHere are my questions:
1/ Which visa is applicable for my case? I will be 30 year old in 2 months, and therefore still could apply for a WHV pass. I am not sure if it is the good solution. May be I should preferably ask for permanent visa, but I think it is much more difficult.2/I looked on the Web that my professional skills would correspond to 60. A lot are missing, what are the chances to be successful? And roughly how long does it take to get a visa from the beginning of the procedure?
3/ The best solution for me would be to find a job before going to Australia. But it seems very difficult. I had tried to write to some Australian companies in the past but was unsuccessful. Do you think it is possible to find a job before going to Australia? And before having obtained the visa?
Note that I am going for 1 month in Australia during next September. I will be on holiday, backpacker trip to discover the country. And to confirm my will to go to Australia. I could eventually profit of this travel to meet some potential employers or sponsors, but I would need to prepare it in advance and I absolutely do not know how to proceed.Any advice is welcome to help me to launch the procedures (visa and job search). What should I start with?
Thanks

Tu as raison puisque – Considère la possibilité d’aller sur un Permanent Visa right from day-1.2/I looked on the Web that my professional skills would correspond to 60. In terms of timeline, you should have in mind it takes anything from 8 to 20 months depending how easy/difficult your case is. Ne perd pas de vue qu’un visa permanent de categorie Subclass 136 est un point tested visa – Il te faudra 120 points or else you would have to look for other options.3/ The best solution for me would be to find a job before going to Australia.
merci encore
