G’day !

Arrivant le 14 juillet 2009 à Brisbane, je suis en recherche active d’un logement, de préférence studio ou T1. Mais pourquoi pas une chouette collocation avec des personnes de mon âge (20-25 ans).

Mon séjour devrait durer 2 ans puisque je pars étudier à Griffith University (Nathan Campus).
Je suis une personne sérieuse et responsable, j’ai l’habitude tant de vivre seule qu’en collocation.

I will respond in English. My husband is Swiss and speaks French and we have an advertisement on this website. You sent us a message and I responded to you with the address: Damalis St Woodridge. We are not all that far from Griffiths university in Mt Gravatt. There are buses and trains near us. I can send a photo if you wish. The studio is suitable for two people with a double bed. It has bathroom and kitchen as well as a BBQ outside in the garden. It is in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood.

I am sorry, but I don’t know how to include photos. I will have to ask my husband to translate the commands so I can attach them. I will do that later today when I get home from work. The studio was finished only a few months ago and is completely new. The floor is tiled in pale tiles and the walls are a light colour. Curtains are light coloured also. It is built underneath our house, and we live on the first floor. The kitchen is new, has a bench with cupboards/drawers underneath, there is a micro oven and a small hot plate and a fridge, all new. The TV is new also – a flat screen tv and the music system is connected up to it and you can play DVDs on it. There is a small table with chairs and if you require a desk it can be arranged. A wardrobe is also in the room. The bed is a double bed with a small bedside table. Bed linen is included. You just have to bring towels. It has been rented out a couple of times to French students/travellers and they have all been happy there. We have taken them for drives in the surrounding country and to the Gold Coast and would be happy to do the same for you, to show you the area. My name is Eva and I look forward to your reply. Oh nearly forgot, the monthly renting price is 4x $220 = $880 .

I will be in Brisbane by July 15th, is it a problem for you? Also, I am really planning on finding a nice and safe place to live so I can study and enjoy my time in Brisbane will being all « free » of my movements.
Would it be possible to make a rent for a month at first, just to see if I feel comfortable to settle for a longer period?

Hello again Charlotte. July 15 is great unless we have rented the studio out by then. Our place is safe and secure. One month would be fine to stay and see if you like it.
